It’s tax time again. Yeah, I just love the tedious chore of filing taxes. It can be a very stressful time, or a rewarding time if you are getting something back from Uncle Sammy.

At least you can earn some points again this year. The 1,000 Southwest Rapid Rewards Points with Turbo Tax offer is back. Not bad. This was a pretty popular promotion last year – because who doesn’t like earning points for something you have to do anyway? Thought so.

TurboTax talks a big talk and guarantees to get your biggest tax return possible. I have used them the last 4 or 5 years and it’s a smooth, easy to use software. All is good as long as the numbers stay in the green in the right corner. It’s online, so you can log into your Turbo Tax account from any computer. Boomtastic. You will still receive the bonus if you have to upgrade to a premium version.

There is also a feature to do a live chat or phone call with a tax expert. That could come in handy because it seems like I always have some annoying question I can’t answer.

1,000 points may not seem like a lot, but Southwest has some flights starting around 4,000 points. Every bit helps! Best of luck on the taxes, by the way.

 

Heads up: this deal is specific to filing with TurboTax online. It does’t look like you earn the points on already installed TurboTax editions.
