5,000 Priority Club Points For Select Hotels : New “PointBreaks” List.
Priority Club has released their list of hotels for only 5,000 points a night! These specials run until July 31, but hurry if you see one you want to take advantage of, because they can often sell out before the expiration date.
Here is the complete list of Priority Club Hotels for 5,000 Points.
Being able to take advantage of these hotels listed is a HUGE value. Especially since Priority Club changed their award chart earlier in the year and just last week raised their cash and points redemption rate. However, through the miles inflation and changes, the 5,000 Pointbreaks have remained. This is still one of (if not the best) values when it comes to redeeming points for hotels.
When I’m looking at Pointbreak hotels (which I do before every time I travel), I am looking for Intercontinental, Crowne Plaza, and Hotel Indigo properties. These properties are usually 30,000-50,000 points a night, so if I can find one for 5,000, that’s….winning.
There is actually a really good list this time around for some top tier hotels. Some of those are:
- Crowne Plaza, in Belem Brazil and Guatemala
- Crownse Plaza Dubai
- Hotel Indigo Shanghai
- Hotel Indigo, Atlanta
- Hotel Indigo, Boston
- InterContinental Cairo
- InterContinental Cleveland
- InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort And Spa
- InterContinental Narobi
- InterContinental Houston Galleria
- InterContinental Kuala Lampur
- InterContinental Bucharest
- InterContinental Mauritius
- InterContinental Real Tegucigalpa, Honduras
- InterContinental Buenos Aires Nordelta Tigre, Argentina
That’s a plenty extensive list, plus there are more that I left off. Seeing this list of 5,000 hotels makes me want to travel- like I need a nudge. I usually wouldn’t recommend transferring Ultimate Rewards points into Priority Club, but I DO for PointBreaks redemption. I have also signed up for the Priority Club Visa, but since the devaluation of the Priority Club award chart and because you can essentially get 10,000 points for $70 (email me)- I wouldn’t recommend it over most other Chase rewards cards out there.
All this Pointbreak talk has me thinking about the epic movie with the incomparable Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze. If you haven’t seen Point Break, you haven’t lived. Enjoy a clip on me…Happy Friday.
