Double Miles when you use your US Airways Mastercard.

Since we’ve been talking about US Airways promos, here’s another one for ya. You will get double miles when you use your US Airways Mastercard to book your next US Airways flight. And these miles will be Preferred qualifying miles. That’s great for people who are chasing status with US Airways. Anyone?

If you don’t have a US Airways Mastercard, you can still use any Mastercard known to man and receive double miles as well. These miles won’t be Preferred qualifying miles, but double miles isn’t such a bad deal, especially if you buy US Airways flights regularly. OR, if you buy flights for work and are reimbursed later. If you would like to apply for the US Airways Mastercard, check out my sick deals page. It’s been on there forever.

I checked my wallet and the only Mastercard that’s currently making the cut in my is the Ink BoldSM with Ultimate Rewards, which also gives me 2x points on travel. So, if I were to buy a US Airways flight with my Ink Bold, I would net 2x Ultimate Rewards points AND 2x US Airways Dividend miles. That’s 4x points per $1. Not too shabby.

You have until Oct. 31 to register and book your flights. And all travel must be completed by Dec. 31, 2012. If you’re interested in registering for this promotion, the link is below.

Earn 2x miles with your Mastecard and US Airways.
