The Southwest 50,000 Card Offers Are Back (Kinda)

I have had the personal and business Southwest “Plus” cards on my sickdeals page for the last few months.

[Disclosure: I now receive a referral for the Southwest cards mentioned in this post. Thank you to anyone who supports the blog by applying through the site!]

I even mentioned them in yesterday’s post because Jordan and I have the Southwest Companion Pass, and I recommend it to all of my readers and friends who want to travel domestically and save some serious miles/cash. It’s simply the best domestic travel deal out there.

Now, with the new “Premier” cards releasing, more people will be able to get in on the fun. You can apply for a business and a personal Southwest Rapid Rewards card at the same time.

There are technically four versions of the Southwest cards – Plus and Premier (business and personal of each). I know of one reader who applied for 3 of them on the same day. That’s just crazy and somehow it was an accident, but eventually she was approved for all 3. Don’t do that. I would spread out my apps.

If you’ve been waiting for these offers to surface, then it’s your lucky day. But the 50,000 offers come, go, and always seem to be around, so don’t act rashly just because these cards are a Limited Time Offer. Do what’s right you.

I hope this helps, and if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Is the annual fee waived? Sorry if i have missed to notice.

The Premier has a $99 annual fee and 6,000 anniversary bonus, and the Plus has a $69 annual fee and 3,000 anniversary bonus. The annual fees aren’t waived for the first year. I hope this helps!

Is there any limit on business credit cards or can I get one as a sole-proprietor and another one some time in the future on my real business with an EIN???

Yes, you can usually get a specific business card as sole proprietor and for another business that’s either a sole proprietorship or incorporated. You will just have to make your case and answer business related questions during the reconsideration phone call.

    Greetings!

I’ve done some poking around, but can’t tell if these offers are still live. Do you know by chance if they are? If so please direct me to your most recent referral links.

    Thanks!

Unfortunately the 50k SW offers have expired for now. Stay tuned because they will make another appearance in a month or so.
