Video: Confessions of a Noob

Happy Monday, Noobs. Today, I have a special treat to help beat the work week blues. Check out this sweet confessional video by Noob reader Chase, a musician from Austin, TX, and see how he is traveling the world Noob style- for pennies.

Chase has, as he said, entered the “Noob Zone” and is balling out of control with miles. Want more info on the cards he applied for? Check out my sick deals page.

FYI, since this video, Chase has also applied for the , and is planning an upcoming Euro trip to cash in some of those bonus miles. Livin the good life.

I hope you enjoy Chase’s video. I definitely did. Want to share your Noob success story? Shoot a quick video and send it on! Don’t worry, it doesn’t have to be as badass as Chase’s. I love hearing from my readers and I’d be glad to share it on the Noob testimonials page.

Questions? Email me. I don’t bite.

the smiley face and happy thought is gone from me since just like ( CHASE= the noobie) used up all the points & miles from my MARRIOT, CHASE SP and UME card. it’s like a dry plant suffering from severe draught.
call chase back and ask for more bonus?
    thanks

Earn and Burn that’s the game. There are always going to be more opps to earn more miles. The Ink Bold is calling your name as well as the US Airways card, and the SPG. Your best traveling days are in front of you my friend, don’t despair.

the bonus on SPG is so pathetic. I wish this gives 40k or more like other cards. SPG is issued by amex right?

25k does seem poor at first glance, but Starpoints are actually very valuable. You can get a sweet hotel room ( Westin, W, etc) for a steal with the cash and points method. You can often find rooms for 4k points and $40 a night! I do wish the bonus was 40k, but I believe 30k is the highest it has ever been.
